What is the Return/Warranty Policy?
LIMITED WARRANTY:
Phoenix Boards, LLC warrants that any board, leash or bag that we sell will be free of material defects in workmanship and materials at the time of manufacturing. We do not sell anything other than first quality merchandise and all boards, leashes and bags we sell are first inspected at the factory and then a second time at our warehouses before they ever ship out to you. We also used heavily fortified boxes and extra padding to further protect the contents during shipping.
How long does my limited warranty last?
Manufacturing defects: One full year after purchase or delivery. Lifetime warranty against heat delamination, heat bubbling or water logging.
How does Phoenix Boards, LLC honor its warranty?
We will replace your purchase with a brand-new board.
How do I contact you with a problem?
Please hold on to your paid receipt and then contact us at: [email protected]. We will respond back to you usually within 24 hours with further instructions on how to address your issue. Normally, for all returns, the buyer must pay the return shipping fee and the board must be returned to us, unopened and in mint condition with the shrink-wrap still intact. There is also a 10% restocking fee. We never send out defective boards, leashes or bags. In sixteen (16) years of selling our boards, we’ve never had even a single board returned to us for any manufacturing defects, whatsoever. So, if, for whatever reason, you decide that you just don’t want the board, bag or leash that you ordered, bear in mind that you will have to pay for the return shipping cost, any PayPal fees associated with your order as well as a 10% restocking charge.
Common sense safety warnings:
Our boards are only intended to be utilized for the purposes to which they were intended, specifically as prone, drop-knee or stand-up bodyboards, surfboards, riverboards or snowboards. They are not intended to be used outside a water or snow environment, and any such usage will void their warranty. Our bodyboards are also never intended to be utilized as flotation devices.
Riding ocean waves can be potentially hazardous and the buyer should be aware of his or her surroundings when entering the water and should also be familiar with all local swimming and surfing regulations. Never bodyboard or surf alone. And if there is a lifeguard on duty, their specific instructions should always be followed.
DISCLAIMERS:
Phoenix Boards, LLC disclaims all liability for losses or damages incurred, including any legal fees, costs and expenses, whether direct or indirect, that are incurred or suffered by the buyer or any third party, including but not limited to the personal injury of a purchaser or any third party as a result of the use or misuse of our products.
CLAIMS & DISPUTES:
By purchasing one of our Phoenix Boards, LLC bodyboards, the buyer agrees that any and all claims or disputes arising out of the purchase or use of our bodyboards will be resolved by way of binding arbitration, pursuant to the jurisdiction and rules and regulations of the American Arbitration Association, that all such proceedings shall be instituted and resolved in the State of New Jersey, and that such arbitration proceeding shall be the exclusive mode of dispute resolution.
With proper care, these boards should last a very, very long time. When not in use, you should store them in a covered bodyboard bag or similar protective covering. Never leave the board(s) in the back or trunk of your motor vehicle in the summertime, as temperatures can rise to extremely high temperatures and possibly warp the foam, even though it is extremely heat tolerant. After each use, you should try to remove all excess sand and wash off the board prior to storing them. Do not lay any heavy objects on top of them, because the foam might become deformed.
